Mr. Jones graduated in 1951 from Vanderbilt University with a Major in Political Science. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1956. He is a 1960 graduate of Vanderbilt Law School where he served as Associate Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. He has an AV Preeminent rating for ethical standards and legal ability by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Mr. Jones, a founding member of the law firm of Evans, Jones & Reynolds, retired from the practice of law in 2013
